Committed to protecting the privacy, personal boundaries and security of our hosts, travelers and hustlers, we have published Hustle Pads Policy on Security Devices at a Property intended to require our hosts to disclose all surveillance cameras and other recording devices and their exact location at their property. This is to ensure that our policy on privacy and personal boundaries are still exercised while protecting the property from any damage, threat or possessory interest.
Security devices are any devices that are capable of capturing, recording or transmitting images, videos or audios. Any concealed or hidden security devices, whether capable of recording and transmitting media, or monitoring private information are never allowed and permitted.
Security devices can either be security cameras, access control devices, video surveillance and recording devices, intrusion detection devices, to name a few. Installing such security devices are highly recommended in protecting your property but should still respect renters’ rights to privacy and personal boundaries.
For the hosts
All hosts are required to disclose all types of security devices and their location at their property, and if an active monitoring, recording or surveilling is currently taking place. All hosts are also required to follow applicable local laws, implementing rules and regulations, and legal requirements on proper use of security cameras and surveillance.
For the travelers and hustlers
Our Community Standards and Expectations on Privacy will apply. All guests are prohibited from using any security devices intended to record or monitor any third party present in the listing without their expressed authorization and permission. Any violation to these rules may prohibit them from renting again.
